Candi Vee is an accomplished singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She is a charismatic performer celebrated for her energetic, engaging and dominating stage presence.
Beginning her career in 2008 as a rock and roll bassist and vocalist, Candi has gone on to play with diverse musical acts in venues, casinos and music festivals throughout the eastern United States. Candi also plays guitar, supplies guest tracks on various independent releases and put out her own album "Sucker" in 2013. She continues to release original music with Sucker. She has been featured on internet and terrestrial radio, in newspapers and magazines and on regional television. She was nominated for two consecutive years as female vocalist of the year during the Steamtown Music Awards of 2014 and 2015 and her duo See You Next Tuesday has been nominated every year since the event's inception. Her band Sucker opened for Joan Jett in 2014 and Green Jelly in 2016 and 2017. She is the bassist for the Idol Kings, a renowned rock and roll sextet known primarily for their tribute to the music of the iconic rock group Journey.
Currently she is working with Russello Project, Sucker, See You Next Tuesday, Katie Evans, and The Idol Kings performing locally and abroad, and is anticipating the upcoming releases of new music from both Russello project and Sucker. She recently formed a new project Ant Planet with singer Nick Van Wagenen. Recently, she began performing her original music live as a solo artist.
